Easton, ME
Easton, Maine in Aroostook County is located about five miles from the Canadian border. Some Huber employees cross the border every day to come to work. These employees work in one time zone and live in another. The major industries of the area are potatoes and trees and Easton has both. The Canadian owned McCain's potato processing plant and U.S. owned Huber plant sit beside each other giving Easton a tax base that enables them to offer Easton children the best schooling in the area.
The Easton Mill was built in 1981, and manufactures a wide variety of engineered woods products including AdvanTech® flooring and sheathing products.
